January 1st marked the 20th Anniversary of your Atlanta Community ToolBank. That's right, with support of folks like you, we've been powering projects to completion since 1991! And, in that time, more than 400,000 local volunteers have utilized ToolBank inventory to improve their world.

Over the years we’ve learned a lot about the logistics of tool lending. How to maximize resources, mobilize communities, and form real, working partnerships. But more importantly, we've learned when passionate volunteers are granted access to the right tools, progress will happen.

We’re proud of our organization and truly believe we offer an opportunity to give wisely, knowing you can trust the ToolBank to treat your time and resources as an investment. An investment in building a stronger community for us all to enjoy.

Here are 5 key ways you can support the celebration:


Click "like" on Facebook/AtlantaToolBank. Simply visit http://www.facebook.com/AtlantaToolBank and share it with all your friends. Even non-facebook users can still spread the word. Just send your friends who are on facebook the link!

*Become a 20for20 Ambassador or Donor. The 20for20 campaign is a great way to raise awareness and vital funds to directly impact ToolBank services. It's so easy! Simply ask 20 people to donate $20, or more, to the ToolBank.

The campaign tagline is Grow Your Green. We stand behind that statement and pledge to maximize every dollar you give for the greater good. So whether you raise $20, $200 or even $2000, you can trust the ToolBank to spread the wealth right back into your community. *Host a Tool Drive.  Over 90% of the ToolBank inventory is donated by the community at large. From gently used tools to new product and even gift cards, tool drives empower local groups to complete more and larger service projects. ToolBank staff will provide all the support needed to ensure you can gather all the tools Atlanta volunteers deserve! Tool Drives are easy and fun to organize. Simply pinpoint a host location such as your school, place of worship, or business and let the good times rev. *Become a ToolBank  Volunteer! Everyone can find a perfect fit within ToolBank’s volunteer program. Whether you enjoy tinkering with the tools at our warehouse, assisting with special events or even lending a hand with our home repair program, we’ve got a spot for you. *Attend ToolBank Events.
